Warren E. Savitz joined USSM as an Executive Manager in 2021. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Urology of St. Louis, a leading urology practice dedicated to the surgical specialty of urology in the St. Louis area serving Missouri and Illinois. In his current role, Warren works closely with both the USL Executive team and USSM to ensure delivery of a host of specialized management functions necessary for efficient operations in a changing healthcare environment.
Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University. He earned a master’s degree in Health Professions from Texas State University while working at Scott and White Hospital and Clinics in Temple, TX. After graduation, he went back to the Northeast to Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. Then Warren headed west to Casper, WY to work with Wyoming Medical Center. After a stint in Big Sky country, he moved to Nashville, TN.
During his time in Nashville, he worked at St. Thomas Hospital where he set up a Management Service Organization (MSO). He then worked with a Primary Care Practice Management (PPM) company PriCare, which was Venture Capital funded. Then he co-founded Healthcare Operational Solutions (HEOPS), a revenue cycle Management Company. Upon expansion, he left and joined AmSurg where he worked in the Surgical Division managing a division of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC). He is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), an MGMA member and served on the Ohio ASC Association (OAASC) board.
He is an avid sports fan of the Nashville Predators and Tennessee Titans, but college sports and the Penn State Nittany Lions are his favorite.
