Sarah Jackson, MHA
Sarah Jackson is an Iowa native who joined USSM as an executive manager in 2020. She serves as Chief Operations Officer for Urology Center of Iowa, Iowa’s leading urology practice dedicated to the surgical specialty of urology. In her current role, she is responsible not only for organizational operations, but also policy and procedure development, organizational strategy and marketing, human resource management, and maintaining a consistently visible leadership presence in the clinic. Sarah works closely with both the UCI executive team and USSM to ensure delivery of a host of specialized management functions necessary for efficient operations in a changing healthcare environment.
Prior to joining USSM, Sarah worked for both hospital-owned and independent clinic systems. She began her career in revenue cycle, forming a solid understanding of coordination of benefits and charge capture before moving on to clinic operations. She also served as Chief Compliance Officer and held the title of Privacy and Security Officer. This varied background has helped her achieve professional success in her current role with USSM.
