Daniel Saltzstein, MD

Dr. Daniel Saltzstein serves on the Board of Directors of US Specialists Management (USSM), bringing over 30 years of experience in Urology and health care leadership. With a strong background in Oncology, Research and the ancillary services that support physician groups he plays a vital role in USSMs growth opportunities.

Dr. Saltzstein grew up in the Midwest and attended college at Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota. Subsequent to his family moving to Texas he attended Medical School in San Antonio and completed his residency in Urology at UTMB in Galveston. Dr. Saltzstein has been a partner at Urology San Antonio for over 32 years and has been intimately involved in developing their comprehensive cancer clinic and research department.

As a board member at USSM, Dr. Saltzstein will contribute his expertise to supporting a physician-led approach to health care and improving the lives of patients under the USSM umbrella.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Saltzstein enjoys spending time with his family, which now includes 3 lovely granddaughters, and staying active with the sports he loves to play including tennis, golf and skiing.
