As a respected leader in urology and a valued member of the Board of Directors at US Specialists Management (USSM), Dr. Edward McIntire is instrumental in driving physician-led healthcare initiatives and strengthening collaboration within the medical community. Board-certified by the American Board of Urology and an active member of the American Urological Association, he has dedicated decades to refining his expertise in advanced prostate cancer treatment and pioneering innovative approaches to patient care.

Dr. McIntire earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before completing his surgical internship and urological residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. McIntire is deeply committed to community service, having served as board chairman for multiple nonprofit organizations. He is actively engaged in church and philanthropic initiatives, continuously striving to make a positive impact beyond the hospital walls.

A proud resident of East Tennessee, Dr. McIntire enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Rebecca, embracing the region’s natural beauty through fly fishing and other outdoor activities. He is a devoted father to Jay and Maddox, both of whom have established successful careers of their own. When he’s not treating patients or serving his community, he loves bluegrass music and all of the cultural connections it creates.
